After Hofstra University (NY) Men’s Basketball program offered Bayard Rustin High School (PA) guard Griffin Barrouk in early October, the senior Tweeted yesterday that he has verbally committed to the Pride.
The 6-foot-5-inch, 185-pounder drained 269 points in 19 games, for an average of 14.2 ppg last season. Plus, he dished out 1.6 assists per contest and grabbed 4.6 rebounds per tilt last year, according to MaxPreps.com.
The Pride posted a 26-8 record, captured the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championship with a 70-61 win over Northeastern, and earned an NCAA Tournament bid in the 2019-20 campaign.
