Red Bank Catholic (NJ) junior wing Justine Pissott today announced on Twitter that she has verbally committed to the historic Tennessee Women’s Basketball program.
ESPN has ranked the 6-foot-2-inch Toms River, NJ, native at the No. 49 overall spot and 7th at her position in the 2022 class.
Described by high school hoops experts as agile and versatile around the perimeter, Pissott, who plays AAU ball for the Philly Belles, shoots the jumper well, is an improved rebounder, handles in transition, and distributes the rock with precision.
As a sophomore, Pissott drained 337 points in 27 contests, helping to lead RBC to a 22-6 record and the NJSIAA sectional tournament, Semifinal Round, South Jersey, Non-Public A game last season.
The team lost, 50-44, to a talent-loaded St. Rose team, but Pissott scored 11 points.
