South Shore High School (Brooklyn) and Head Coach Anwar Gladden have a long and storied history of sending female high school basketball players off to Division I schools over the years.
Well, now you can add senior wing/forward Jamiah Richardson to that long list, as she verbally committed to Stony Brook University, high school girls guru Joe Felon of NYG Hoops Report Tweeted today.
The six-foot Richardson averaged 4.85 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in 13 contests during the regular season and added two points and 1.5 boards per contest in two tilts in the PSAL postseason before COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the 2019-20 campaign.
