St. Frances (MD) Academy’s Jahnathan Lamothe’s stock is on fire, as the Queens, NY, native has received an offer from Virginia Tech, today he Tweeted.
This comes on the heels of an offer from Delaware State yesterday.
So far, the 6-foot-4, 180-pound sophomore combo guard owns standing offers from Seton Hall, Rutgers, Mississippi State, Georgetown, DePaul, Bryant, Austin Peay, Coastal Carolina, VCU, and Pittsburg, in addition to Virginia Tech and Delaware State.
But Lamonthe, who also plays AAU hoops for TeamDurant, is sure to acquire more offers, as he has three more full years of high school basketball, and is developing into a first-rate baller.
Virginia Tech posted a 17-17 overall record and went 7-13 in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play in the 20-19-20 season.
