When Donovan Catholic’s (NJ) Jordyn Keating committed to New York Insititute of Technolgy (NYIT) in May, she did not envision the school shuttering its athletics program in the summer due to COVID-19.
However, it forced her to reopen her recruitment, along with numerous other athletes. But today, Keating, a senior, announced on Twitter that she has verbally committed to the Division II East Stroudsburg (PA) Women’s Basketball program.
Keating dropped in 368 points, grabbed 80 rebounds, and made 43 steals in 27 games as a junior last year for the Lady Griffins. Keating also plays AAU ball for the NJ Belles.
The Warriors posted a 20-10 record and went 15-7 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in the 2019-20 campaign.
