St. John’s University Men’s Basketball has offered Liberty Heights Athletic Institute’s (NC) center Jonas Aidoo, today he tweeted.
The Red Storm is lastest to step forward in a long line of college hoops programs vying for the 7-foot, 215-pounder’s polished and ever-improving hardwood skills.
In addition to St. John’s, Aidoo holds offers from Wake Forest, Western Kentucky, Georgia, VCU, Miami, Alabama, Pittsburg, Rutgers, Ole Miss, Marquette, South Carolina, Iona, Witcha State, Providence, Virginia Tech, Houston, Clemson, High Point, and Appalachian State, per Verbal Commits.
The three-star recruit is considered one of the most prominent big men in the 2021 class, and that is because he sports a multifaceted approach.
While the Charlotte, NC, native’s inside offensive game is difficult to curtail, Aidoo has an outside jumper, including his three-pointer, that makes him tough to defend close off the ball.
Plus, Aidoo moves well without the rock and is a plus-plus defender.
Aidoo is a player for sure to watch going forward.
