Lual Manyang, a 6-foot-11, 206-pound center out of Blair Academy in New Jersey, has garnered an offer from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), yesterday he Tweeted.
The junior from Twic, South Sudan, Africa, holds offers from Bryant, Sienna, UMass, George Mason, UNC Charlotte, NJIT, Saint Louis, La Salle, and Manhattan.
Only playing basketball for three years, Manyang is considered to have a high ceiling and should be receiving a lot more offers in the future.
Furthermore, he is known for his diligent work ethic and ability to move on the court for a player his size. Plus, Manyang can shoot the three well.
247Sports rates Manyang as the No. 17 center and No. 142 overall player in the Class of 2022.
VCU posted an 18-13 record and went 8-10 in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
