Camden Catholic (NJ) and Philly Pride AAU forward Zach Hicks yesterday announced his verbal commitment to Temple Men’s Basketball program, multiple basketball outlets Tweeted.
The 6-foot-8 and 185-pound rising senior chose Temple over Richmond, La Salle, Drexel, Sienna, and Missouri, per 247Sports.com.
Additionally, Hicks had interest from Boston College, Delaware, Georgia, Harvard, Rutgers, Maryland, Michigan, NC State, Old Dominion, Saint Joseph’s, and Seton Hall.
Hicks, a three-star player, drained a remarkable 579 points and grabbed 220 rebounds in 29 games as a junior for the Fighting Irish.
Hicks is currently the No. 53 power forward in the 2021 class.
The Owls posted a 14-17 record and went 6-12 in American Athletic Conference action last season.
