Staten Island Academy’s talented guard/forward Allie McGinn today announced that she has verbally commited to Division I Fairleigh Dickinson, she Tweeted today in a long letter that thanked every person who helped make it possible.
McGinn, a versatile player who can beat defenders off the dribble, slices to the basket with the utmost determination and owns a sweet outside shot. Plus, she possesses next level quickness to be a success at the collegiate ranks.
More importantly, though, the 5-foot-11 senior, who also plays AAU ball for NJ Shoreshots, is a vocal leader, on and off the court.
Look for McGinn to continue to employ her relentless work ethic and prove her worth with the Knights.
Fairleigh Dickinson posted a 13-17 overall record and went 9-9 in the Northeast Conference (NEC).
