In an effort to improve their thin wide receiving corps, the New York Jets have signed veteran receiver Donte Moncrief, today the team announced on NewYorkJets.com.
Moncrief spent last season with the Carolina Panthers and Pittsburg Steelers and caught four passes for 18 yards.
The Indianapolis Colts drafted the Ole Miss product in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. The six-foot-two-inch, 216-pound Moncrief played four seasons in Indianapolis and one in Jacksonville.
He has played in 77 games (43 starts) and has 204 receptions for 2,561 yards (12.6 Yds/Rec) and 21 touchdowns.
