Seton Hall Men’s Basketball has added to its 2021 class after Brooklyn native and Hillcrest Prep’s (AZ)Β Brandon WestonΒ today verbally committed to the program, he Tweeted.Β
The 6-foot-5, 198-pound shooting guard had visited nine schools, according to sources, including Pittsburg, Wake Forest, and Michigan, but went with the Pirates in the end.
Weston, a rising senior and four-star recruit , said that Seton Hall displayed the most interest in him and his feeling that he would fit into the Pirates’ system well as the biggest reasons for his commitment to the program. Plus, Coach Kevin Willard’s steadfast commitment to player development.
Seton Hall’s 2021 class is shaping up, as Weston joins point guard Ryan Conway (Ribert Academy, CA) and small forward Tyler Powell (Lutherville Timonium, MD).
The Pirates registered a 21-9 overall record and went 13-5 in Big East Conference play.
