Putnam Science Academy (CT) three-star wing and Jamaica, Queens, native Sean Durugordon had 25 offers from colleges across the country.
But today, Durugordon disappointed 24 schools, as today he committed to the Missouri Men’s Basketball program, he announced on Twitter.
Durugordon, a rising high school senior, is a quality acquisition for the Tigers, who posted a 15-16 overall record and went 7-11 in the Southeast Conference SEC) last season.
The 6-foot-7, 215-pounder is known to be a hard worker, has nice size for his position, with a seven-foot-one wingspan, and is a tough defender, according to multiple sources. Plus, he is a true student-athlete, with above-average grades.
Durugordon turned down offers from VCU, Senton Hall, Hofstra, DePaul, Penn State, South Florida, Arizona State, Auburn, Georgia, Delaware, and FDU, among others.
