Majesty Johnson, a former point guard on Brooklyn Collegiate Boy’s Basketball team, announced yesterday on Twitter that he will be heading to Division I Wabash Valley College, a JUCO school in Mount Carmel, IL, in the fall.
Considered one of the top New York City players by high school insiders at his position, Johnson excelled as a Lion in the 2019-20 season, dropping in 11 points, 8.16 assists, and 5.58 rebounds per game in 12 contests. He also added 15.25 points, eight dishes, and 7.25 boards per game in four PSAL Class AA playoff tilts before the season came to an abrupt end due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
As a junior, Johnson scored 13.46 points, had 4.76 helpers, and grabbed three rebounds per game in 13 regular-season contests. Plus, he recorded 11.8 ppg, 7.2 apg, and 5.4 rpg in five games in the PSAL postseason.
The Warriors posted a 21-11 overall record and went 13-5 in conference action.
