Back in 2018, I wrote an article on Five Northeast Independent Wrestlers to Watch in 2018, with current AEW grappler Sonny Kiss on the list.
Well, it seems pro wrestling fans are increasingly taking noticing of Kiss’s in-ring talents.
The Jersey City, NJ, native’s AEW Dynamite match Wednesday night with The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes was the second-highest peak (826K) behind the final minutes of Jon Moxley versus Brian Cage (844K), according to a Twitter post.
Additionally, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Kiss’s phenomenal entrance dance–which, I’ve hear, he choregraph on his own–with the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars cheerleaders.
Kiss is only 26, and his star is undoubtedly on the rise.
