Ella Fajardo, a 5-foot-4 rising junior point guard at Gill St. Bernard’s High School in Gladstone, N.J., yesterday verbally committed to D-I Farleigh Dickerson Univeristy Women’s Basketball program, she Tweeted.
Fajardo, who played with the New Jersey Spark AAU team from seventh to ninth grades, drained 347 points with 65 rebounds, 74 assists, and 37 steals with the Lady Knights in 26 games in the 2019-20 season. Those numbers amounted to a 13.3 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.85 apg, and 1.4 apg average.
Fajardo was also part of Gilas Pilipinas girls team that captured a bronze medal in the 2019 FIBA 3×3 U18 Asia Cup.
Gill St. Bernard posted a 15-11 mark, while Farleigh Dickerson went 13-17 and 9-9 in Northeast Conference action.
