Impact Wrestling announcer Madison Rayne, while interviewer herself on last night’s episode on AXS TV, said that she will be returning to in-ring action at the company’s Slamiversary PPV on July 18th.
Taking a break from the squared circle during the pandemic, Rayne will be entering the women’s gauntlet match, a royal rumble-style battle, to determine the No. 1 contender spot for the Knockouts Championship.
Jordynne Grace is the current champ and will face challenger The Virtuosa Deonna Purrazzo for the highly-coveted strap at Slamiversary.
A five-time Knockouts title holder and talented wrestler in her own right, Rayne made the announcement on her Locker Room Talk bit.
In my opinion, a Rayne versus Purrazzo match for Bound for Glory will be a great storyline and a fierce battle.
