By now, most high school basketball fans know that Blair Academy (NJ) rising junior combo guard Kyle Cuffe Jr. (2022) is one of the best players in his class. And so do top colleges, as Georgia has offered the dynamic player, according to Cuffe Jr.’s Twitter post yesterday.
Along with Georgia, Cuffe Jr. has standing offers from solid D I colleges such as Providence, UCLA, Pittsburg, UCONN, St. John’s. Senton Hall, Iona, Hofstra, Holly Cross, and Manhattan, among others.
The six-foot-one, 173-pounder is a four-star recruit and ranked as one of the top five guards, and was one of the elite 60 sophomores in the nation in his class, according to Pittsburg Sport Now.
Cuffe Jr. is also ranked No. 2 in his class in New Jersey, per 247sports.com.
Cuffe Jr., who plays AAU ball for the highly acclaimed PSA Cardinals program, is a tenacious defensive player who uses his athletic skills to transition to offense and get to the hoop effectively.
Cuffe Jr. drained 113 points and grabbed nine boards in eight tilts played for the Blair Academy Bucs this past season.
Cuffe Jr.’s dad, Kyle Cuffe Sr., played for the Red Storm basketball program from 2001-04 and averaged 11.2 and 7.2 rebounds per game while in Queens, New York.
The Bulldogs posted a 16-16 record and went 5-13 in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
