NJ’s St. Thomas Aquinas Guard Jaquan Harris Gets Offer from UCONN

St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, N.J.) rising junior Jaquan Harris has received an offer from Division-I University of Connecticut Men’s Basketball program, today he announced on Twitter.

Additionally, Harris holds offers from Little Rock, Temple, Bryant, Virginia Tech, plus schools from the Garden State such as Rutgers, and the Big East’s Seton Hall, as well as Marquette, Georgetown, and St. John’s, among other D I colleges.

The 6-foot-4-inch point guard enjoyed a tremendous sophomore season, as he drained 389 points, collected 113 rebounds, and dished out 140 assists in the 2019-20 season for the Trojans.

Previous to his sophomore year, Harris attended the Patrick School in Hillside, New Jersey, where he posted 40 points and grabbed 12 boards as a freshman.

Many high school basketball insiders consider Harris to be of high character and one of the best point guards in New Jersey and should be included among upper-echelon player talks in the nation as he gets older.

Harris plays AAU hoops for the renowned New York Jayhawks program. He also suited up for the New Jersey Bulldogs.
