Martin Luther King Jr.’s (Westchester, N.Y.) Romello Faison has committed to study and play basketball at Nassau Community College in the fall, Dozo Hoops Tweeted today.
The senior guard, who is originally from Queens, averaged 30.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.9 steals per game in 16 contests in the 2018-19 season, according to MaxPreps.com.
A proven scorer, Faison had surpassed the 1,000-point career mark as a junior at Martin Luther King Jr.
The Nassau Community College men’s basketball team posted a 25-8 record last season and went 16-2 in State University of New York (SUNY) action. Also, the Lions made it to the second round of the NJCAA Men’s Basketball National Tournament, where they lost 101-93 to Mohawk Valley CC in Rochester, M.N.
