Rising senior Jaylen Blakes of Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J., continues to rack up the scholarship offers. Blakes just claimed another one yesterday, from Texas, Tweeted Pat Lawless of Pat Lawless Scouting.
Blakes holds offers from Division I colleges the likes of UCONN, DePaul, Georgetown–all of which are Big East colleges–as well as Georgia, Iona, Penn State, Rutgers, and Yale, according to multiple sports outlets. And that list will surely grow in his senior campaign with the Blair Academy Buccaneers.

Additionally, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound point guard’s national rankings continue to improve, as 247sports.com currently has him at the 139th overall spot, 25th at his position, and is ranked as the No 4 player in the Garden State.
Rivals.com has Blakes listed 120th overall and 30th at his position.
Moreover, Blakes is known to be a good student, with an admirable work ethic. Plus, he enjoyed a solid high hoops season, scoring 207 points in 11 tilts, good for an 18.81 points per game average.
