New Jersey Standout HS Basketball Player Noah Farrakhan Selects ECU


The Patrick School’s (NJ) talented senior high school guard Noah Farrakhan today committed to Division-I East Carolina University (ECU), multiple outlets announced on Twitter. 

247Sports.com rated the three-star Newark, New Jersey, product at 89, just a shade below the four-star status mark. 

Farrakhan had numerous college hoops programs vying for services, including the likes of  St. John’s, Penn State, Florida, Maryland, Rutgers, Seton Hall, UMASS, Virginia Commonwealth, Virginia Tech, as well as others, per sources

Farrakhan played with IMG Academy, in Bradenton, Florida, early on during his high school days. But transferred to The Patrick School, which has produced hoop greats such as the Brooklyn Nets’ Kyrie Irving, to finish out his high school career.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound hoopster is the 21st best combo guard coming out of this year’s senior class, and 15th best overall hoopster in New Jersey, according to 247Sports.com

The Pirates finished the 2019-20 season at 11-20 and posted a 5-13 record in the American Athletic Conference (AAC).
