Former South Shore High School (Brooklyn) basketball product Dwight Davis Jr. has committed to Northeastern Oklahoma (NEO) A&M College, a small junior college in Miami, Oklahoma, the school Tweeted yesterday.
The six-two point guard averaged 15.2 points per game in 14 contests and dropped in another 14 ppg in the PSAL playoffs in his senior year at South Shore before spending a season at TaylorMade Academy, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Davis Jr. frequented Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School (Brooklyn) for his first two years as a student-athlete before transferring to South Shore, where he won back-to-back PSAL (City) Championships with the Vikings.
The Golden Norsemen posted a 25-7 record (12-0 at home) and went 15-1 in conference play.
NEO plays in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
