Rising junior Blair Academy (NJ) combo guard Kyle Cuffe Jr. (2022) has received an offer from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) men’s basketball team, he announced on Twitter today.
The six-foot-one, 173-pounder is a four-star recruit and ranked as one of the top five guards and one of the top 60 sophomores in the nation in his class, according to Pittsburg Sport Now.
Cuffe Jr. is also ranked No. 2 in his class in the state of New Jersey, per 247sports.com.
In addition to UCLA, Cuffe Jr. has standing offers from Pittsburg, UCONN, St. John’s, Seton Hall, Iona, Hofstra, Holly Cross, and Manhattan.

Cuffe Jr., who plays AAU ball for the PSA Cardinals, is a fantastic defensive player who uses his athletic ability to transition to offense and get to the hoop.
Cuffe Jr. dropped in 113 points and grabbed nine boards in eight tilts played for the Blair Academy Bucs this past season.
Cuffe Jr.’s dad, Kyle Cuffe Sr. played for the Red Storm basketball program from 2001-04 and averaged 11.2 and 7.2 rebounds per game while in Queens, New York City.
UCLA posted a 19-2 overall record and went 12-6 in the PAC-12 Conference, in the 2019-20 campaign.
