After former Division III New York University (NYU) forward Dom Cristiano received an offer from D-II St. Thomas Aquinas (NY) last week, he picked another one from D-II Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.), Verbal Commits D2 Tweeted tonight.

Cristiano, who’s an alum of Greens Farm Academy High School, in Westport Connecticut, is a graduate transfer with one year left of eligibility. The six-foot-eight, 215-pound senior was a member of the basketball team at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, but did not see any action.

The Valhalla, New York, native only played in one game with NYU (Eastern Athletic Conference) during the 2019-20 campaign but led the team in scoring with 391 points and 16.3 points per game (24 contests) in the previous season.

Additionally, Cristiano led the Violets in blocks, rebounds, free throws, and field goals, and recorded eight double-doubles that same year.

The Railsplitters posted a 31-1 overall record, were 22-0 in South Atlantic Conference (SAC) action, and finished the campaign on a 32-game winning streak before the NCAA cancelled the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
