
The Brooklyn Cyclones, the short-season New York-Penn League affiliate of the New York Mets, have had 77 players pass through their minor league ballpark en route to MLB glory.
The first player to debut in the majors was infielder Danny Garcia while Sam Haggerty was the Cyclones last, playing six games with the Mets at the end of the 2019 season.
Among other notable players are rising star Pete Alonso, last year’s National Rookie of the Year and the All-Star game’s Home Run Derby winner, and the first Brooklyn player to make an AllStar game, lefty Scott Kazmir.

Additionally, current Mets outfielder Micheal Conforto, who slugged 33 round-trippers in ’19.
