Hoops honors were handed out today as four Chatham Lady Cougars earned Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) basketball recognitions for their outstanding efforts, head coach Joe Gaba Tweeted today.

Firstly, senior guard Maddie Hartnett picked up first-team Morris, All Morris County, and MCT All-Tournament Team honors.
Not many Morris County hoopsters had a better season than the five-seven spitfire. A true hardwood leader, Hartnett helped pace 25-6 Chatham in scoring with an impressive 15.7 average and posted double digits in all 29 contests this season.
Harnett, who’s committed to the University of Scarton, amassed 456 points, 76 rebounds, 38 assists and 40 steals for the year.
Secondly, junior point guard Tess Ford garnered first-team All-NJAC American, All Morris County, and MCT All-Tournament Team acknowledgments.

Ford used her tireless motor to register 247 points, 83 boards, 97 helpers and 29 thefts on the campaign.
Next, senior forward Shannon Donohoe earned second-team All-NJAC American and Morris Senior All-Star honors.

Donohoe proved to a defensive force but showed she could manage multiple hoops tasks well. She posted six double-doubles in points and rebounds and complied 235 points and grabbed 192 rebounds this year while frustrating the opposition’s offense at every turn.
Finally, sophomore forward Carly Frohnapfel received All-NJAC American honorable mention recognition.
Frohnapfel played beyond her youth, grabbing 162 rebounds, pickpocketing foes to the tune of 24 steals, and making 35 dishes.
