
With MLB Spring Traning underway, it’s not too early to start thinking about warm days and minor league baseball on Coney Island.
In fact, the Brooklyn Cyclones, the New York Mets’ Single-A, short-season New York Penn League (NYPL) affiliate, announced during the week their 2020 June promotional giveaway schedule.
Thursday, June 18th
On Thursday, June 18th vs. Staten Island, the Cyclones will open their NYPL season and hoist their 2019 NYPL Banner in a pre-game ceremony and the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a replica of the Championship Ring that will be given to the players and coaches from the team.
Saturday, June 20th

After Brooklyn returns from Staten Island, it will giveaway a Michael Conforto Darkside Bobblehead to every fan in attendance at the game against the Yankees on Star Wars Night.
Yes, you read that right, every fan at MCU Park will get one of the former Cyclones’ cool Star Wars-themed bobbleheads.
Wednesday, June 24th
Brooklyn will open up a three-game set against the Norwich Sea Unicorns with Catholic Schools Night. There will be a special limited-bobblehead package.
Thursday, June 25th
The Cyclones will commemorate their 20th season on the date of the first home game in franchise history back in 2001, by giving away a replica championship ring from the 2001 season to the first 2,000 fans in attendance in their contest versus Norwich.
Thursday is also the day when EVERYONE Runs the Bases post-game.
Friday, June 26th
The NYPL Championship celebration will continue when the first 2,000 fans in attendance receive a 2019 NYPL Champs Dri-Fit Cap when Brooklyn takes on the Sea Unicorns.
It’s also the first Friday Night Fireworks of the season and Girl Scout Sleepover. The team will also be partnering with the Crayola Experience, with additional details to come.
