When it comes to working out, New York Mets righty pitcher Noah Syndergaard, A.K.A. Thor, swings a mighty hammer.
The long haired, blonde flamethrower was recently working out at Kobe Bryant’s Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, Calif., sporting a six-pack that rivals the actor that plays the Norse God in the movies — Chris Hemsworth.
Also, pitcher and pinch-hitting specialist Michael Lorenzen joined him for a pumping up session. The two MLB players look like the new age Hans and Franz, characters in a recurring sketch called “Pumping Up with Hans & Franz” on the television sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, played by Dana Carvey and Kevin Nealon, respectively.
Syndergaard spun a 10-8 record with 4.28 ERA and 202 strikeouts in 197 innings pitched in 2019. But if the six-foot-six, 240 pounder’s physique is an indication of things to come in 2020, Mets fans will be in for a treat.
We’re here to pump you up, bro!
