There’s little doubt that Brooklyn’s Matt Scott is enjoying his time on the court with the London City Royals of the British Basketball League (BBL). Scott has been impressive thus far, leading the Royals to a 5-0 record to start the season.
Scott posted a double-double with 23 points and 18 rebounds, carrying London City to an 84-82 win over the Surrey Scorchers, on Saturday night.
Before that, on Tuesday, the former Brooklyn High School of Law and Tech star drained 27 points on five of seven shooting from three-point land while grabbing four rebounds and dishing three assists in London City’s 67-65 victory against host, the Worcester Wolves.
