Zed Key is another quality basketball player from hoops powerhouse high school Long Island Luthern, located in Brookville, Long Island.
On September 22nd, Key, a six-foot-eight-inch, 230-pound power forward, ended his recruitment and verbally committed to Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
The four-star recruit and student-athlete is the 117th ranked high school hoopster in the nation on Rivals.com, 24th at his position. Plus, Prephoops.com has the Glen Head, New York, native as the No. 62 overall player on its list.
Key took an official visit to the school on the weekend of Septemeber 7th, according to Rivals.com, and it didn’t take him long to decide to become a Buckeye.
Key cited the reasons he picked Ohio State as threefold: the family amoshpehere surrounding the basketball program, the school being the right fit for him, and the possibility of him coming right in and being an impact player as a freshman.
