South Shore Lady Vikings basketball head coach Anwar Gladden welcomed senior point guard Kateri Poole to the Flatlands Avenue school on Twitter and Instagram yesterday.
Poole, a pure scorer, is a huge addition to a program that has captured five PSAL Girls Championships.
Poole — a five-star recruit and No. 16 overall rank and No. 7 at her position in the class 2020, per ESPN — left Monsignor Scanlan High School in The Bronx to attend South Shore.
Poole is committed to Ohio State University, where she’ll join Kaelynn Satterfield, a former Christ the King (Middle Village, Queens) star who played the wing position for the Lady Royals.
