Summer Sports Autograph Meet-and-Greet Events in NY, NJ

With the weather warming up, it’s a great time to get out and meet some of your favorite professional athletes. Here are a few upcoming autograph events in the New York and New Jersey areas. 

Art Shamsky, Cleon Jones, Ed Kranepool, and Ron Swoboda

On Sunday, June 9th, at 1:05 p.m., at TD Bank Ballpark, the home of the Somerset Patriots, 1969 World Series Champions Art Shamsky, Cleon Jones, Ed Kranepool, and Ron Swoboda will be making an appearance to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the New York Mets winning their first ever title. 

Fans will be able to meet Shamsky, Kranepool, Jones, and Swoboda on the main concourse for two hours during the game. In order to accommodate as many fans as possible, the former Mets will sign one item per person and will not be taking pictures at that time.
Autographs are free with admission to the Ballpark. 
Krzysztof Oliwa 
For New Jersey Devil fans, Krzysztof Oliwa will be signing autographs on Sunday, June 9th, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Sports Minded Unlimted in Warren, New Jersey.  
The “Polish Hammer” played 410 NHL games with six teams, scoring 17 goals and 28 assists. But his enforcer role had him amassing a whopping 1447 penalty minutes. 
Each item is $20.00. 
Nate ‘Tiny’ Archibald, Dick Barnett, and Tom Hoover 
14-year NBA veteran and Hall of Famer Nate ‘Tiny’ Archibald will be signing autographs at Basketball City at Pier 36 along with Dick Barnett (New York Knicks) and Tom Hoover (Knicks, Nets) during the #FairwayFoodFestival at @BasketballCity (299 South Street, Manhattan) Sunday, June 9th, from 11:00 a.m. to Noon.
This event might be free. Please call Basketball City at (212) 233-5050 to confirm. 
Rudy Ruettiger
On June 15th, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Rudy Ruettiger, a motivational speaker who played college football at the University of Notre Dame and the subject of the movie Rudy, will be signing autographs at Sports Minded Unlimted. 
Each item is $35.00.
