Bobblehead Mania Hits Brooklyn Cyclones’ MCU Park in 2019

If you have a passion for baseball and bobbleheads, then you’ll love what the Brooklyn Cyclones, the New York Mets short-season Single-A New York-Penn affiliate, have to offer in 2019: 11 bobblehead giveaways, plus two cool figurines to the first 2000 fans through the gates. 

Roberto Clemente 

The first bobblehead offering is ex-Pittsburg Pirate and Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente, on Friday, June 21st, at 7:00 p.m., when the Cyclones transform into the Brooklyn Jefes, or bosses, for the first of three “Copa de la Diversion” nights, as they take on the Staten Island Yankees.

The Copa is a season-long event series across minor league baseball (MiLB), with 78 teams participating, specifically designed to embrace the culture and values that resonate most in Hispanic/Latin communities.

The next bobblehead is on Jewish Heritage Night on Sunday, June 23rd at 4:00 p.m., with the Mensch on the Bench, as Brooklyn faces Staten Island. 

Noah Syndergaard Pitchers Who Can Rake
On Friday, June 28th at 7:00 p.m., the Cyclones will be handing out the Noah
Syndergaard Pitchers Who Can Rake Bobblehead, with the fireballer sporting a piece of fierce lumber.
The home squad will be facing the Lowell Spinners (Boston) at 7:00 p.m. 
SteepleChase Bobble Face
For our nation’s birthday on Thursday, July 4th, at 6:00 p.m., the giveaway will be a  SteepleChase Bobble Face, as Brooklyn squares off against the Aberdeen Ironbirds (Baltimore).
Endy Chaves 
The second Copa game is on Friday, July 12th, with the fans receiving an Endy Chaves “the Catch” Bobblehead on “Bring Your Flag Night.” Chaves is a current Cyclones coach. 

Brooklyn will be playing the Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Indians) at 7 p.m. 

Fusilli Jerry Figurine 

On Seinfeld night on Saturday, July 13th, the Cyclones will be doling out a Fusilli Jerry Figurine to everyone in attendance, as Brooklyn faces the West Virginia Black Bears (Pirates) at 7 p.m. 
Spiderman 
The following contest, on Sunday, July 14th, the Cyclones will be handing out Spiderman Bobbleheads on Superhero night, as they take on the Black Bears at 4:00 p.m. 
Astronaut Todd Frazier 
On Wednesday, August 7th, at 7:00 p.m., the Astronaut Todd Frazier bobblehead is up for grabs, as Brooklyn is pitted against the Hudson Valley Renegades (Rays). 
Edgardo Alfonzo 
Two days later, on Friday, August 9th, the team will be celebrating Dominican Cultural Night, in the third and final Copa night, as Cyclones Manager Edgardo Alfonzo will be the Bobblehead promotional giveaway item in their tilt versus the Connecticut Tigers at 7:00 p.m.  
Brandon Nimmo Bobble Legs 
Aside from the typical bobbling head moving body part, on Monday, August 12th, Brooklyn fans will get treated to Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo Bobble Legs, as they take on the Yanks at 7:00 p.m. 
Rocky Balboa 
On Italian Heritage Night on Sunday, August 18th, the fame title character from the Rocky movie franchise, Rocky Balboa will be immortalized for Cyclone spectators, as the team faces the Tri-City Valley Cats (Houston Astros) at 4:00 p.m. 
1969 Black Cat Figurine 
On Sunday, August 25th, the Cyclones will be giving away ’69 Black Cat Figurines to commemorate 50 years since a black cat spooked the Cubs and allowed the Mets to seize the game.
Brooklyn will take on the Lake Monsters (Washington Nationals) at 4:00 p.m. 
Pete Alonso 
Saturday, August 31st will be the day the Cyclones honor former Brooklyn player Pete Alonso with a bobblehead of his own, as they face Staten Island at 6:00 p.m. 

 Brooklyn kicks off the season by hosting the Yankees on Friday, June 14th at 7:00 p.m.
