If you’re a lover of sports and books, you’ll be happy Io know that I’ve come across a few athletes who will be conducting book signings in the New York/New Jersey area in April and May.
The list includes the likes of former New York Met pitcher and current baseball color commentator Ron Darling, as well as WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss and ex -major leaguer Dale Berra.
Darling will be making four local book signing appearances in the month of April.
First, on Monday, April 1st at 6:00 p.m., the 1986 World Series Champ will be autographing 108 Stitches: Loose Threads, Ripping Yarns, and the Darndest Characters from My Time in the Game (Click the link to purchase; Amazon Pre-order) at BookEnds at 211 East Ridgewood Avenue in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
Then, on Tuesday, April 2nd, he’ll be at Book Revue at 313 New York Avenue in Huntington, New York.
Next, on Friday, April 5th, at 1:00 p.m., Darling will be at Barnes & Noble at 555 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York, and later that day at 7:00 p.m., he’ll be at Barnes & Noble – Old Country Road, Carle Place, NY.

This is the Yale University alum’s third book, with the first two being very good reads, and I’m sure the third will be just as good.
Bliss, a former multi-time WWE Women’s Champ, will be autographing WWE: The Official Cookbook (click link to buy book on Amazon) on Friday, April 5th, at 6:00 PM at BookEnds in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
Berra — son of Yankee great and Hall of Famer, Yogi Berra — will be signing copies of My Dad, Yogi: A Memoir of Family and Baseball (purchase by clicking the Amazon link) on Thursday, May 6:00 PM at BookEnds.
