WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan to Hit TD Bank BallPark in July

By Jerry Del Priore

On Sunday, July 14th, the Somerset Patriots of the Atlantic League will welcome WWE Hall of Famer “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan to TD Bank Ballpark, where he’ll be on hand to sign autographs and offer other great fan opportunities.

Duggan will be participating in a VIP Meet & Greet in the Diamond Club from 4:00 pm to 4:40 pm. Tickets for this special event are $65 and will include an autographed 8” x 10” commemorative photo, one additional item that participants can bring with them that will be signed, and a posed picture with the former World Championship Wrestling (WCW) United States Heavyweight Champion and World Television Champion.

The VIP Meet and Greet will also include food and beverages (non-alcoholic) with the ticket and the chance to enjoy the game from the Diamond Club.

To purchase VIP Meet and Greet tickets, fans can order online by selecting the option called Diamond Club Hacksaw Jim Duggan Meet & Greet or Diamond Club.

Duggan will then sign autographs for fans on the main concourse for two hours — 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. He will be signing one item per person at that time.

Duggan rose to fame by using his patriotic persona and thumbs up gesture, as well as carrying a wooden 2×4 while belting out his “Hooo” battle cry.

He’d often tussle with combatants from other countries, whipping the fans into a frenzy.

Duggan won the first-ever WWE Royal Rumble match in 1988. He later defeated Haku in 1989 to claim the “King of Wrestling” title, proudly wearing a crown as part of his victory.
