Wide receiver Adisa Isaac lines up for play in his junior season with Canarsie High School in Brooklyn.
Canarsie High School (Brooklyn) defensive end Adisa Isaac made it official today, announcing to the world on YouTube.com that he signed with Penn State University.

The four-star recruit said he had over thirty offers, with Rutgers University being his first when he was a sophomore in high school.

Isaac selected the Nittany Lions over Miami University after dwindling down his list to a top four that also included Syracuse University and Texas A&M University.

247Sports.com ranked the six-foot-five, 220-pounder as the No. 1 overall prospect from New York.

A wrestler at first, Isaac was a raw football talent when he first joined the junior varsity football program as a freshman, with no organized football playing experience.

The then-Canarsie coaching staff helped develop him into a quality player for the first three campaigns at the school, setting off a college recruiting storm.

This year’s staff helped him round out his impressive gridiron career as a Chief. The gifted senior recorded 22 sacks and 77 tackles with a fumble recovery and a safety in nine games this past season. He added three sacks and 13 stops in two playoff contests before Canarsie lost to Erasmus Hall, the eventual PSAL City Conference Champs, in the second round.
