
Who can forget the specular helmet catch former New York Giants wide receiver David Tyree made at Super Bowl XLII in their thrilling 17-14 victory against the undefeated-at-the-time New England Patriots in Glendale, Arizona?
Well, here’s your chance to meet a genuine Super Bowl hero. On Saturday, December 15, Tyree, who caught three passes for 43 yards and a score in Super Bowl XLII, will be making a public appearance at Legends Gallery in Chatham, New Jersey.
He’ll be signing autographs for $60.00, for any item that you provide., from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
New York drafted Tyree in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL Draft out of Syracuse University. He played seven seasons in the NFL, but missed all of 2008 due to injury. He spent his final NFL season with the Baltimore Ravens in 2009, though he retired as a Giant in 2010.
The Livingston, New Jersey-born, Montclair High School alumnus currently holds the position as the Director of Player Development for New York.
