Staten Island-based Warriors of Wrestling (W.O.W) is scheduled to return to the borough on Saturday, September 8 at 7:00 p.m. at Funstation USA (3555 Victory Blvd.) for its fourth annual King of New York tournament, a prestigious professional independent wrestling event pitting some of the finest talent on the Northeast circuit against each other to determine the area’s top dog.

“This is the fourth annual KONY tournament, and we couldn’t be prouder of the talent we have signed up,” W.O.W. owner Joey B. wrote on its Facebook page. “Sixteen of the absolute best join us this year to find who stands high above the rest…the true King of New York.”

Among the 16 grapplers featured in the match will be 2017 KONY winner, Colossal Mike Law. Plus, the mammoth Juba, who won the competition in 2016.

Also included is Lucha Underground’s dynamic Sonny Kiss (XO Lishus), Wrestling’s Richest Prize – Mr. Darius Carter, Nikki Addams (Women of Warriors), Frat Boy Farva, Bam Sullivan (New York Wrestling Connection), Marcus Marquee, JustNeph, Smiley (House of Glory), Everett Cross (Pro Wrestling Magic), Vinny Pacifico, Bear Bronson (Create-A-Pro Wrestling), “Brooklyn Bulldog” Tony Booze, Big Sean Studd (Reality of Wrestling), and Steve Pena (Reality of Wrestling).

In addition to the main event, W.O.W. will hold a Six-Man War match, in which all titles will be on the line, up for grabs for all of the challengers.

W.O.W. World Heavyweight Champion Chris Steeler and Tag Team Champs Apostles of Chaos (Logan Black and Chris Benne) take on “The Unpredictable” JGeorge and the Society of Ventrue (Jasin Karloff and John Cannon).

In No Limits action, Champion Isaiah Wolf, w/ Slade and Amanda Grace in his corner, will square off versus “The Cookie Pimp,” TK Luther.
Scotty Priest and Jose Salvador versus The Midnight Classics round out the card.

Last but not least, there will be a special appearance by former WWE Diva Rosa Mendes.
