Bobbleheads giveaways is something that has become a glorious tradition at stadiums and ballparks all over North America. I love them and can’t get enough of those crazy, little noggin boppers.
I make it a point to attend as many bobblehead giveaway games at MCU Park when the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Class A short-season affiliate of the New York Mets, have them.
This season, the Cyclones have announced four bobblehead promotions to the general public thus far, with 2,000 available on a first come, first serve basis.
The first one—which should be a hot ticket item—is the Black Panther edition, and takes place on Sunday, July 15th at 4:00 p.m., when Brooklyn takes on the Williamsport Crosscutters (Philadelphia Phillies) on Superhero Day.
The next bobblehead giveaway, Noah Syndergaard Hair, another surefire popular piece, is on Wednesday, August 1st at 7:00 p.m., when the Cyclones face the Tri-City ValleyCats (Houston Astros).
On Wednesday, August 8th at 7:00 p.m., the Cyclones will become the Jefes and celebrate Mexican Cultural Night as part of MiLB’s “Copa de la Diversion.” The early, lucky faithful will receive a Jefes Sugar Skull bobblehead courtesy of MetroPlus as Brooklyn squares off against the Connecticut Tigers (Detroit Tigers).
The following evening, the Cyclones will celebrate Dominican Cultural Night and will give out Amed Rosario (top Mets shortstop prospect and former Cyclone) bobbleheads as they play the Tigers again at 7:00 p.m.
Please note that other bobbleheads are available when purchasing special ticket packages.
For more information on Cyclone promotions, visit BrooklynCyclones.com, as more bobbleheads may be added, as well other giveaways, as the season nears.
