It’s fair to say that St Joseph’s (Brooklyn) guard Kelly O’Donnell is on fire lately after picking up another Skyline Conference Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week award, the league announced Monday.

O’Donnell has won five Skyline Conference Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week honors this season, and it was her second consecutive accolade.

The five-foot-ten-inch Marine Park native averaged 19.5 points and 10.5 rebounds over a 1-1 week for the Bears. She began the week with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists at Farmingdale State for her team-best sixth double-double of the season.

The freshman followed it up with 25 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals in a win over Yeshiva on Thursday at home, her sixth contest scoring 20-or-more points.
