Ex-A.P. Randolph Basketball Player Katlyn Boland is Enjoying Solid Season at Alfred University

Former A.P. Randolph (N.Y. N.Y.) high school guard Katlyn Boland is enjoying a fine season at Alfred University (Division III in the MACC) as a junior guard for the Saxons.

Boland is averaging 6.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game with 40 steals and two blocks this basketball year, while earning the Saxon of the Week for January 2nd, 2018.  

The five-foot-two-inch New Yorker finished with nine points and four assists in a 72-46 non-conference defeat to Oberlin College Saturday afternoon at the Terry S. Galanis Family Arena, Alfred University’s home court.

During the 2016-17 season, Boland paced the Saxons with 82 assists (3.4 APG), finished second on the team in steals with 43, dropped in 78 points, and pulled down 98 rebounds (66 defensive and 32 offensive).

Boland is an Early Childhood Education major at the college.
