Archbishop Molloy senior center Moses Brown has garnered two big accolades this past week: McDonald’s named him to its All-American high school basketball team, and he scored his 1000-point in his illustrious high school career, the school posted on Instagram.

Brown, a five-star college recruit, is Molloy’s first All-American since former NBA all-star Kenny Anderson, a 1989 graduate, achieved the same honor.

In addition, just 14 players have hit the 1000-point milestone in the school’s history.

Presently, the seven-foot-two-inch Queens Village native is 10th on AMHS’s all-time scorers list.

Brown has yet to commit, but there several Division I colleges that are vying for his hardwood abilities. The list includes the likes of UCLA, Maryland University, Georgetown University, and Florida State University, according to Molloy Boys’ Varsity Head Coach Michael McCleary.
